Best Mallet Putter to buy

Putters come in a few different head styles, and that head determines the way it hits and the kind of strokes you would use that putter for. There are two primary head types according to ARGolf USA– the mallet putter and the blade putter. You are more likely to use the blade putter for your shots, but there will be times where you’ll want a mallet putter.

We’re going to show you what to look for in the best mallet putters. We also want to show you some of the better ones out there, and you can decide for yourself if one of them is right for you.

Wilson has been perfecting their putters for a while, and this model boasts a larger grip than previous versions, offering greater control and less slippage. The face of the putter has a few different features that allow it to provide greater control over the ball and the arc it takes. Wilson has designed a high quality putter that is well worth the reasonable asking price but that can feel too bulky for more experienced players.

The 70 degree lie and 3 degree loft ensure a low arc and a steady shot, and the weighted head allows you to hit smoothly and get a lot of distance out of the ball. The paddle grip is mid-sized and may not be to everyone’s liking, but it’s a decent grip nonetheless. The black finish is a nice touch as well, which gives this putter a very professional feel, and this same brand of putter has a lot of PGA wins under its belt, so its safe bet for the beginner or the expert.
